It is a secluded retreat spread across 4 acres of land, nestled among the towering Himalayas and surrounded by the verdant Kaudia Forest. Located in the picturesque village of Thangdar in Uttarakhand, near Kanatal. On clear days, Kaudia Estate offers stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas, from Satopant in the northwest to Nanda Devi in the northeast. Local legends add a mystical charm, and you can enjoy the sky's dramatic shift from vibrant dawn to starlit night, framed by rolling green hills.

The estate features three elegantly designed 3-bedroom villas and a carefully curated Walnut Lounge, making it an exceptional private retreat -  Villa Cedarwood, Woodrose and Baywood. To the far left, you can see the border of China, central to the vista are the sacred peaks of Neelkanth, Satopanth, Bandarpunch, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Dunagiri, and Sunehri Parvat. On the far right stands the majestic Nanda Devi.

At Kaudia Estate, all meals, snacks, and refreshments are included in the tariff, with menus tailored to your preferences. Enjoy a diverse range of cuisine, from local and traditional Indian dishes to South-East Asian and European fare, featuring fresh herbs and vegetables from our kitchen garden. We also bake our own bread and offer a selection of organic jams, marmalades, and artisan cakes and cookies. For a quick snack, they can prepare hot snacks and local pakoras on request. Refreshments like Kaudia special chai, iced tea, herbal teas, homemade lemonade, and cold drinks are available anytime.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the sunny dining room, on the balcony, or the deck with mountain views, they can also arrange "Bed Tea" and picnic-style meals at scenic spots or casual dining in the Kaudia Forest. Barbeques can be organized in designated areas. Dinner is offered in the candle-lit dining room or walnut lounge, with options for outdoor dining on the deck or in the gardens during warmer months. Relax with chess, library books, or board games, and have fun with karaoke or dancing at the Walnut Lounge. They also offer table tennis, archery, airgun shooting, foosball, golf putting, and a pool table.

Kaudia Estate enhances relaxation with a games room featuring table tennis and darts, a library stocked with books, DVDs, and music, and a dedicated bonfire and barbecue setup. Spread over 3 acres of meticulously designed landscape, organic farms, and well-maintained facilities. The property is deeply committed to sustainability, implementing various initiatives to conserve natural resources. Rainwater harvesting is practiced by collecting melting snow and rainwater through channels and storing it in underground tanks for lawn irrigation. A dedicated sewage treatment plant (STP) processes and purifies wastewater for reuse in landscaping. The estate minimizes the use of single-use plastics and employs sustainable laundry and cleaning practices. Additionally, there is a strong focus on using biodegradable and recyclable materials throughout the property.

Admire the Himalayan peaks by day and stargaze by night. Birdwatching and nature photography are also excellent here. Adventure seekers can trek to Surkanda Devi temple, rock climb, or zip line across the valley. - 100% refund if cancellation made 45 days prior to Check-in date

- 50% refund for cancellations made 30 days before check-in date

- 100% retention charges apply for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival.

- A fee of 20% of the booking charges will be applicable for change of arrival date made less than 30 days before arrival.

- Transaction charges ( if any) will be deducted while processing refunds

- Amendment of bookings is allowed until only 48 hours prior to arrival.
