Situated in Kotagiri, a handsome mansion built around tea gardens and craggy mountains amidst spectacular views. Kotagiri is a small hill station in Nilgiris, very similar to Ooty and Coonoor in landscape, but less crowded. It is located about 29 kms east of Ooty and 19 kms northeast of Coonoor. This little village is tucked inside the blue mountains covered with lush green shola forests. The resort is set amidst dense tea plantation and is surrounded by lush greenery which makes it a haven for birds. Teanest Nightingale is based on the concept of endemic species of birds found in Kotagiri namely Scarlett Minivet, Hoopoe, Magpie Robin & Emerald Dove. The rooms at this stunning mansion are also named after the famous birds of Nilgiris that are scarlet minivet, hoopoe, magpie robins, emerald dove. The bedroom has a king-size bed that can accommodate 2 adults and a 100 sq ft loft with a bed that can accommodate 2 children under 10 years.
