At a height of 1660 meters above sea level, this hidden gem overlooks pristine lakes of the Sattal Valley. The solitude exuded by this place makes it an idyllic spot for travellers. Getaway from the concrete Jungle and be welcomed to picturesque Valleys, far far away from the mundane and routine city life. Soak in and enjoy the easy going pace at JAWS at SATTAL. The cottage itself is done up pleasingly with all modern amenities -an inbuilt kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee/tea maker, RO water, etc. The modern bathrooms have 24hours running hot/cold water with top-end toiletries and fresh towels.
There are no TVs nor newspapers - to help you detox from your city stress. With the hosts living on the premises and completely plugged into the local scene, they are committed to making your holiday memorable. The meals are prepared by the hosts. Pan Indian cuisine is their speciality comprising of Mangalorean, South Indian, Kumaoni, Awadhi/Dilli, Kashmiri and a bit from the Eastern region too. They also experiment in Italian and Continental cuisine. Further, some friends of the hosts- who are also foodies and excellent cooks turn up as guest chefs and stir up a quick impromptu meal.

Getting to Jaws At Sattal - is by Volvo/Train upto Kathgodam (the nearest railhead) and then an easy 45 minute cab ride from there. If driving down from NCR - takes 6 hrs (if you leave early ) or a maximum of 8 hrs.
