About the property:
This historic 400+ year old house, managed by the Belgian couple Christel Goemaere and Jan Arryn, was lovingly relocated to this backwater peninsula by Smitha Kalathil and Arun Prasad. This house was subsequently restored painstakingly to its former glory by the renowned Swiss Architect, Karl Damschen. All interior creations & decorations were handled by Karl & Christel, respecting the traditional Kerala settings, yet adding contemporary luxuries, wherever required. With a mention in 'AithihyaMala' (The ancient Legends of Kerala), Vismaya Lake Heritage, Alleppey is an ideal choice for travellers visiting Kerela. The heritage property is located on the banks of 'Vembanad' lake, surrounded on 'three' sides by water. The luxurious property gives complete seclusion to the guests and lets them relax and rejuvenate in the lap of nature.
